Scott Lucas

Scott Lucas was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Va. Scott has been signing Christian music practically all his life. His powerful vocals come from the anointing God has placed on him.

Scott began signing in his small pentecostal church with his family. As Scott grew older he knew that Christian music was where his heart was. Scott began promoting Christian concerts at the age of 16. At 18, he began to travel part-time with James Wilson Ministries. (Former male-vocalist & pianist for Joyce Meyer Ministries) "I have found that Scott has a real heart for ministry and a love for people", say's James Wilson. In 1996 Scott sang at the Church of God General Assembly, at the RCA Superdome, where he was named Male-Vocalist for the state of Virginia.

Scott has promoted and produced live concerts for such artist as Mark Lowry, Ray Boltz, FFH, Avalon, Michael English, and the Bill Gaither Homecoming Concerts to name a few.

In November 2001, Scott received his greatest gift from God... his wife, Michelle! They have a son, Casey, and a daughter, Skyler. Scott and his family attend Azalea Garden Church in Virginia Beach. Michell teaches the preschoolers and/or toddlers. Scott is a vital part of the music program and is the current Praise & Worship Leader. "Scott communicates well through his signing and ministers effectively to the congregation. I have observed a fresh commitment and sincerity which have enhanced his ability to minister through song", say's Pastor Aubrey Maye. In addition Scott, in partnership with Azalea Garden Church, also heads up "Catacombs Media Lab" which houses a recording studio, video recording/editing, and web design.

Scott and Michelle formed "Lucas Ministries" in order to carry the good news to people where they are. Lucas Ministries was started out of heart felt desire to praise and worship God through the talent that He has given Scott. Our message is simple... God loves, God forgives, God Saves!!!
