Discography

I co-wrote and sang on two top thirty hits in Ireland when I was in a band called "Beach"We went on to win the Emergenza competition held in Paris among 1800 competing bands. I have since written 3 co-writes on Bridgin Brennan's album to be released next month and also recently co-written an R+B album for a rising star named Jani. I have also just released my debut album "Cartoon Moon" and the radio single "The Sun Came" is receiving national radio and tv coverage. I plan to release another off the album in August

Bio

Scott Maher has never had a job, that is if you consider singing your heart out and sleeping in vans recreational behaviour. He has had previous success with Irish band "Beach" having two top thirty hits but left to pursue his own van and singing heart. Scott has had the honour to sing with "Sir George Martin"(Beatles producer) for three nights in Dublin’s National Concert Hall with Jimmy McCarthy and Liam O'Maonlai. As a result he was invited to London to perform alongside a host of impressive names such as "Sugababes"and The Bluetones. Scott has also opened for artists including "Texas" "World Party" and "Jules Holland among others. "Hotpress" writes - "Much of what Maher does is impeccably well-crafted, cleverly arranged and convincingly developed. "You'll adore "Pyramid" for ‘Maher’s attractively aching voice’. Since the release of his debut album "Cartoon Moon" Scott has received great reviews (above) and has just completed his first successful Irish tour as a solo artist. He will be touring the East Coast of America in September to coincide with the CMJ festival in New York.
