Bio

Born Scott Jarmarl Saunders this man proves to be well ahead of his time. Scott wrote his first rap when he was just 9 years old. At first he just did it as a hobby it was something to do whenever he got bored. His best friend would always tell him he was really good and that he should lay some tracks down in a studio.

Some years went by till finally he met with the right people and found a professional studio. When he was 14 he began recording in professional studios all around the St.Louis area. Now that he was serious about becoming a rapper he hit the streets dropping his first Mix-tape titled ''Class In Session.'' All of the marketing and promotion was done by him. He figured out quick he needed a team behind him to make things happen. Scott started networking and was able to get a street team to help him along the way.

A real good friend hipped him to the internet which later on became very beneficial. Scott signed up for social sites such as MySpace, then came Facebook, & then Twitter. He began to create a huge buzz online. Even though his buzz started in the streets Scott had more of a online buzz. Scott says ''It's easier to just put music out online and see what people think rather then handing out Cd's.''

There was a A&'R meeting in Chicago which he attended in September of 2010. Scott met with Senior Director A&R of RocNation Omar Grant. Omar loved the music so much he put some of the songs on his personal laptop. After taking constructive criticism they exchanged contact information and began building a relationship.

Scott has talked to a lot of influential people in the industry such names as Conrad Dimanche previous head A&R of Bad Boy Records. Conrad heard some of his music and wanted to set up a 1 on 1 meeting with RocNation Head A&R Cal Nyantakyi. The meeting went well but once again this wasn't his big break. Cal felt the music had major potential and it was good but it just wasn't good enough. Scott kept in contact and worked on what he was told he should work on.

One day Scott went to the studio and a guy was there talking about RocNation coming to St.Louis. Once he got all the details he went to the hotel where they were suppose to be he audition for the label and passed. Two weeks later Scott met with Anthony ''Scoe'' Walker previous head A&R of Def Jam Records he gave him the details on the upcoming event. In November 2011 Scott attended the ''I Got Next Music Showcase'' in Saint Louis Missouri. This was a private event which it was Hosted by Omar Grant head A&R of RocNation. Scott was the first to go up and from his fans perspective he did well. All though this was another let down and Scott did not win he didn't let it get to him.

Till this day Scott continues to ''Work Smart Not Hard'' putting out as much free music as he possibly can. With well over 300 songs recorded Scott is proven to be ahead of the game. It's just the beginning and hes well aware that he still has a long way to go.
