"Guitars like they used to be"

“Gritty pop punk like it used to be before Weezer went power pop and Blink imploded. It's a skate down memory lane. Try single Firebird for ascending vocal harmonies, "Tread Softly" for a withering guitar solo, and "Fading Quickly" for Midtown-like lyric structure. As tragically hopeful as you remember.” S.A. Thayne - ReverbNation

"Local Bands and Good Books"

“ScramJet's songs display that difficult to master trait that all great bands must have: the ability to walk the delicate line between maintaining an identifiable 'voice' as a band, and creating tracks that are diverse, unique, and new. Each of their songs has a distinct flavor that is all its own . . . while maintaining a sound that can accurately be identified as "ScramJet".... The guitar in Tread Softly is in top shape, and the solo is unbelievable--and must rile the crowd like a seething, roiling hurricane! The hook there is primarily the lead guitar, but what makes the song so good is that there are subtle hooks everywhere--in the lyrics, the harmonies, the percussion, and even the pacing itself. It's a hardcore song, with addictive pace, tone, and melody. It will reel you in, and embed itself in your head--and you'll enjoy every minute of it.”

Discography

Believing the industry to be all about singles now, ScramJet is just releasing single after single after single When they have enough they will probably remix and master and call it an album.

Bio

ScramJet is a four piece guitar driven band with two singers, and no front man. All members go by numbers instead of names like a racing team, and their music is up tempo, catchy, and exciting. Veterans of the local scene ScramJet is built like it's name and will use the very atmosphere as fuel to break free from the gravitational pull of mediocrity. This is a throw back band with independent rock that is loud, fun, and makes you want to go somewhere. ScramJet has been likened unto Green Day, Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New and other guitar rock bands.
