Screaming Life followed with an enjoyable, longer set that to their credit didn't drag its feet. Opening with single Cats, launched earlier on in the year by the band and bringing out a track out off their forthcoming EP, the band travel through many genres of rock that, thanks to a high level of skill and heart, never comes across insincere. Put simply, the three-piece produce well written and tightly performed songs that can be enjoyed on the surface or should one choose to listen a little deeper they'll be greeted by some talented musicians playing at a high level. - Drum Media

Screaming Life, a spirited Australian rock outfit took flight in 2007, writing prolifically to develop their modern, dynamic sound. Later that year, the band recorded their first single with producer Rob Agostini at the desk. The 'Cats' single was launched at Perth's Rocket Room in early 2008, showcasing the theatrical side to Screaming Life's music.
They continued to write furiously throughout 2008, emerging with a cohesive, inspiring sound; an innovative blend of all the bands' influences, creating fresh, uplifting music that stands apart in the Perth rock scene.
Screaming Life's debut EP 'Hope Something' is currently in the works, and will feature five brand spanking new tracks. This EP is an uplifting, hard-hitting experience, showcasing Screaming Life's best music to date. Bringing together danceable rhythms, soaring vocals and intense guitar riffs, 'Hope Something' will be a standout release of 2009.
