Screaming Mechanical Brain

Screaming Mechanical Brain -- a band who’s got a new twist on the way people will look at the genre Heavy Metal. Classifying themselves as “Circus Metal”, SMB takes their listeners to a whole new level. Using everything from your typical heavily distorted guitar tone to sampling, upbeat drums, and even a keytar, the band will captivate your ears and then turns them inside out.

Rev. John Wheeler IV, Cassidy Nee, Brian “Da Gimp” Pierson, and Jesse McInturff, have made up what is Screaming Mechanical Brain since 2004. After working non-stop in the studio the last month on their newest EP In Defiance of Science, they are egarly awaiting its release to the public. “It’s what we’ve always wanted to do with an album,” says bassist Cassidy Nee, “make it heavier, more experimental and add a hell of a lot more keytar!”

Formed in 2000 by Reverand John Wheeler and a few of his friends from high school, SMB was only a mere dream of the Reverand. After loosing all its members, all that was left was the dream that The Rev had for the band. He then went and found three guys who would be as dedicated to this dream of a new genre as he was, which made Screaming Mechanical Brain what they are today.

Screaming Mechanical Brain has since produced 2 albums, and played hundereds of shows with bands such as Mindless Self Indulgence, hed(p.e.), Dog Fashion Disco and Psychostick.
