Scribblin' Jones had its origin when vocalist Sarah Candler answered a Craigslist ad placed by singer/songwriter-guitarists Cameron Horne and Jimmy T. Harris. The three-part harmony that ensued quickly became the group’s key sonic signature. Bassist, David Tunkel, was soon added to represent the missing clef.
Scribblin' Jones music can be described as Vocal-Infused SwingGrass. Classic Bluegrass, Swing, Folk, and Blues lock together in a tasty acoustic marinade that features the group’s stunning vocal harmonies. The songs are the focus--tunes and lyrics that linger long after the show ends. The sound is intimate and immediate, and the vibe is heartfelt.
