2013: to be released: new songs

Scrum first saw the light of day in April 2004. Their music has always been described as “Power Folk”: Rock with Scottish and Irish influences in which bagpipes and fiddle play a big part.

Scrum have been invited to many festivals and concerts over the last 7 years and everywhere they've played both audience and band were very enthusiastic which shows in the support of an ever increasing fan base. Over the last 3 years Scrum have been invited to play at festivals outside the Netherlands as well and have been receiving a very warm welcome, and to most of these festivals they have been invited to return in the nearby future.

A few of the highlights over the last years:
• The band’s very own blend whisky has been introduced;
• The single “Drunk Again” gets a place in the Top 100;
• Numerous gigs played at festivals in Belgium, Germany, Holland and Denmark;
• Sharing the stage with bands such as The Dubliners, Beggars Row, Rapalje and Omnia;
• In January 2009 Scrum wins an award for being “Best Live Band of 2008 NL”;
• 2006: Scrum records and releases the studio album “Pro Libertate”;
• 2008: Scrum records and releases a 5 track acoustic live album, simply called “Live Acoustic”;
• 2010: Scrum release their second studio album called “Killing Time”;
• 2011: Killing Time Music video add to Blank TV (largest, d.i.y., free, uncensored punk, ska, hardcore and indie music video site)
• 2011: The band’s acoustic theatre show is very successful.
• 2012: Over 70 shows at festivals and theatres. Denmark is becoming a big fan of the band.

During every gig Scrum go for the highest goal: To send the audience home, totally worn out and with a big smile.
