Sculptures finish the night. With Bloc Party bass lines and a charismatic front man, skinny in a white shirt with a low voice, they play with surprising authority. Loud as you like drums combined with tight guitar solos, Sculptures’ enthusiasm is contagious, a gem waiting to be discovered. - XYZ Magazine

Bio
Sculptures formed at the start of 2010, after Joe Cherry, bassist and vocalist and Frankie Sparrowhawk, drummer, spotted Ryan Balch, guitarist, playing at a venue in Brighton. Loving his unique tone and style, Joe invited Ryan to join the band. The three piece deliver tight and energetic post-post rock songs. Sculptures are an excruciatingly exciting live act, lighting up audiences across the south of England and London throughout the past year at venues including Tunbridge Wells Forum, Brighton Concorde 2, 93 Feet East and even a packed nightclub in Bournemouth. A very strange gig indeed. But we love it.
Catchy choruses, titan heavy guitar riffs, punchy basslines and terrifying powerful and deep vocals create a massive sound which we think everyone should give us a shot at. We will sure as hell take it.
In recent times the band have supported the likes of Dinosaur Pile Up, The Xcerts, Japanese Voyeurs and Sound of Guns.
