Seagram Synth Ensemble

The Seagram Synth Ensemble is a Kitchener-based trio of electronic artists with a computer-free passion for synthesizers. Legend has it that these fellas and their circuitry take audiences on an interstellar odyssey through space and time. Using contemporary, vintage, and homemade synthesizers, they create soundtracks you never knew you loved. Come catch a glimpse of the Seagram Synth Ensemble and realize your audio-visual fantasies. 

Founded in 2014, the Seagram Synth Ensemble has been active in the new music community across Ontario. With support from the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund, the band is excited to release their debut album across digital platforms and vinyl in June 2019. 

Influenced by Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, and Survive, the ensemble performs composed tracks which often include methods of improvisation. The Seagram Synth Ensemble is one of the few electronic music groups in the GTA that operate without the use of a single computer.
