Sean and Katie Hayes

Katie grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and her lyrics reflect the energy, humor, and spirit of that region.

Sean hails from the fields of North Eastern Indiana and was a classically trained piano player before his exposure and assimilation to bluegrass and americana music.

The couple lived in North Carolina for many years, where they played with the Raucous large ensemble group, "The Whiskey Smugglers."
