Bio

Sean Brown is an emotional songwriter who writes about the battles in his world, the daunting and dramatic life experiences that have influenced so many admirable songs. This has created a dark and obscure acoustic sound through the majority of his songs being landmarks from his past. He is set on making music his life and putting his heart and soul into his art. Sean’s music will captivate listeners and connect with lost souls who are tackling the same problems he did and guide them back on track. Sean is a pure innovator and lives for music not fame and fortune. The Red Lights are made up of 4 members with different musical backgrounds. Lexi came from an opera/theatre background and pens acoustic numbers which compliments well with Sean's songwriting and powerful voice. Steve, rightfully a guitar player with another Perth rock outfit, Copious, applies the same intensity and creativity on the bass as he does on guitars and proves that he is quite a driving force in the rhythm section. Alex Larsson, nicknamed "Bubbles" formerly of Black Sheep Invasion is a straight up in-your-face grew-up-punk,living funk guitarist and his chops says it all. Lukman, an import from Singapore has had extensive experience under his belt as a sessionist drummer for various established artists in the South East Asian region. He also has had hours of studio work with internationally established bands and he is very much an important asset to the band. He brings in the range and dynamics to the music of The Red Lights.
Together the five of them have only been around less than a year but are working hard, exposing their music to the public, gigging hard around Perth. A tight, intense and energetic band, Sean Brown and The Red Lights are a promising young act, still defining their sound but definitely one to watch out for.
