Sean Garvey

BandJazzClassical

Played on a classical guitar with an experimentation of different guitar tunings. It is both relaxing and upbeat. Played with finger style tapping and awesome chords.

Biography

It all started senior week when I began experimenting with a different guitar tuning. I would spend my days partying on the beach with my firiends and my nights serenading the moon and the ocean breeze. Eventually I began to develop my own style, a style that has never been taught by anyone else. Needless to say, my friends and family convinced me to record an album so that I would never lose that new sound. Surprisingly, I recorded twenty tracks and it sounds pretty darn good! Writing music is now a part of me and it's what I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm not being boastful when I say that everyone out there can find some appreciation for my music (especially guitarists like me). Hopefully you'll enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoy playing it. Until then I'll spend my days writing more music, training in martial arts and anticipating next summer. Sean Garvey was born April 29, 1989, and resides in Lancaster, Pa. He is presently a student at HACC in Lancaster. He hopes to continue writing music while attending school and then transferring to a four year music school to connect with other musicians like himself.
