The album was written by Sean McGrath wrote the Album "Microscope" from his teens through the age of 22. The album was originally recorded at a different studio, but was lost a month before release due to a hard drive disaster. Sean and band got right back to it at Wonder Mind Studios and rerecorded it in less than year with four more songs, including the title track, Microscope. The album was release on June of 2012. In the months since, the band has already written more than half of their next album, due to be released the same time next year.

Bio
Sean McGrath grew up in Edmonds, Washington, and started writing music at the age of 17. He taught himself to play guitar and ukulele, and performed in the Seattle folk scene as a solo act for five years before forming his backup band, the Imaginary Friends. Their music is " like lullabies for adults. Lyrics flowing along effortlessly amidst the rhythmic waves of melody" (Seattlest.com). They recently released their debut album on June of 2011.
