Bio
Sean is heavily influenced by West African Djembe music, Puerto Rican Bomba, Reggae, Rap Music , Classical Music, Jazz, & Soulful Electronica, the foundations of which can be heard in most of the music Sean composes. Sean uses digital, electronic and acoustic instruments, to create a new music that is at once acoustic/ancient AND digital/futuristic. The uniqueness of this music is in the way that Sean switches a voice deriving from African drumming to a guitar or bass, from the bass to the hi-hat, from the atonal cowbell to a melodic piano.
Morgan Cousins is a Jamaican-American vocalist that resides in Brooklyn, where they first met. She's grown up performing slam poetry in NYC and is a self-taught singer who currently does consulting in the NYC area.
Kofi Obafemi is an accomplished DJ who got his start while attending college in Philadelphia. He is also a West African drum enthusiast that plays both Jembe and the accompaniying bass drums. He is known for filling in on percussion while the record is spinning.
