Bio

Sean Renzetti- who is he? Sean Renzetti has been making waves since the day he was born. Born prematurely in the 80's to Canadian parents who happened to be on vacation in South Florida, Sean has been defying the odds since day one. As a youngster, he was hospitalized for over 18 months with a serious condition. Doctors feared for the worst when it was discovered that he had serious complications with his heart. His strength and passion to live helped him overcome this troublesome time. This was also the same time that Sean started getting into performing arts. He used the music and entertainment to take himself away from the physical pain and suffering that he was going through. By the time he got out of the hospital around the age of 8, he found himself attending a performing arts school.

Sean began using the world of performing arts to inspire himself and push forward. By the time he reached high school, he had already been invited to perform at several Disney events, had participated in several touring theater shows, and had won numerous awards. Sean rode this momentum throughout high school, where he was cast as the lead role in several off-broadway shows, was the host of a children's television show, and was featured in a touring non-profit group called PushPlay.

After high school, Sean became came the lead singer for a South Florida band called The Drive Home. Sean helped take this band from the local scene, and make it one of the hottest unsigned international bands. As the frontman for TDH, Sean lead them on several headlining college tours as well as performances in some of the largest festivals in the US. Just when the band was beginning to peak, tragedy struck again. A short time after the band got off stage at one of the festivals, Sean learned that his mother had committed suicide. This news was devastating to him, but he held his composure through this difficult time and once again turned to music for inspiration to overcome this tragedy. Just 10 days after learning of his mother's death, Sean found himself on stage in front of tens of thousands of people as The Drive Home was slated to be the opening band on the Eastern European leg of the Backstreet Boys 2008 Unbreakable World Tour.

Throughout his life, Sean has turned to music and the arts as a way to overcome adversity. In addition to using this as his escape, he now also uses it to try and inspire others. Sean's music talks about overcoming obstacles and moving forward, no matter what life throws in the way.
