"*PREMIERE* Sean Smart - Provide (Ft. RahRah The Savage and Mic Kellogg)[Prod. by TRiLL GATE$]"

Putting on for Milwaukee, WI, Sean Smart is back again after being one of last weeks #Freshpicks. With his new single “Provide”, Sean enlists fellow Milwaukee natives RahRah The Savage and Mic Kellogg over highly contagious TRiLL GATE$ production. There’s no getting around it, this track is catchy AF, you will listen to it once, then find yourself restarting it, then you will listen to it again, and probably restart it a couple more times. A strong follow up to “Rolling Stoned”, “Provide” shows a different side to Sean Smart. Unlike his previous release, which had more playful lyrical content, this track shows a more serious side to the rapper. “Provide” is a sensual, sultry, ode to being the dude who can provide everything she needs, whether it’s a good time, some good trees, or some real good d***.

Sean Smart starts off the track with an extremely well written verse, weaving words together in rhythms that will leave you clinging to each cadence. RahRah The Savage follows with a verse so smooth, it’s like being wrapped in midnight velvet. That’s right, it’s that smooth. Last, but not by any means least, Mic Kellogg comes at with you a melodic gem of a verse. Overall, this is a great collaboration, and it shows a huge amount of diversity in the Wisconsin scene. All three of these Artists should have a eye trained on them, as there is no doubt that they will continue to create interesting and original music. - Kayvan Daragheh - Goodmusicallday.com

"SEAN SMART SILENCES CRITICS ON “LIGHT POLES” [PREMIERE]"

Sean Smart dropped a pensive “Light Poles” joint today (September 28, 2015). The follow up to “Rolling Stoned” reminds me of a song I did called “Starry Eyed” – the spaced-out storytelling type. Sean’s chopping is nuts on this one, and his breezy chorus fits in quite nicely. TRiLL GATES did the Ellie Goulding – “Lights” sample.

"A&R Spotlight Volume 6 #FRESHPICKS"

Rolling Stoned, rolling stones. Stoners mobbing through together, is Sean Smart's ambient anthem for ole lady Mary Jane. Sparking it up for the listeners in hazy fogs, the slowed beats on "Rolling Stoned" coincide perfectly for the flows laced with double entendres. Sean Smart's self-titled debut is expected to drop this fall, and his latest track "Light Poles" will also be featured on the upcoming EP. - Symmone Brown - Goodmusicallday.com

"Sean Smart Irrationale"

Milwaukee native Sean Smart makes his DJBooth debut with Irrationale (spelled wrong, we assume, on purpose), the first offering from his forthcoming, self-titled new project, due out this fall. Joining Smart over CAMEone‘s production is fellow Brew City emcee Mike Regal and vocalist Drudini. Smart and Regal pack a nice one-two punch over the hard-hitting production, proving yet again there is a city north of Chicago that wants next. - DJ Z - DJBooth.net

Bio

Milwaukee East Side product Sean Smart began rapping when he was seventeen-years-old. In high school, he was the valedictorian of his class and a stand-out art student. It was during his senior year that Sean began to hone his pen skills, and it was not long before his talent with words became noticed. With over 1.6 million plays on Youtube, and a resume donning shared stages with major artists such as MGK, Chuck Inglish and Flatbush Zombies, Sean has become a fixture of the Milwaukee hip-hop community. Beyond Milwaukee, the rapper has performed at nationally-acclaimed music festivals such as SXSW and A3C. In 2015, Sean split ways with his long-time collective and officially commenced his career as a solo artist. The talented spitter’s first independent project, ‘Sean Smart’, is set to drop this Fall.
