Lyrics

33 Streets

Written By: Sean Thomas

A Sheppard First out in the Don
Mills in the Garden reels
A Songbird Harbord in the lawn
Out from the Greenwood Steeles

Jane the Finch has flown away
Said the King to the Eastern Queen
Down the Lakeshore to the Bay
The Yonge won’t Bloor what I’ve seen

Major McKenzie Front and Main
The Warden of the Keele
Broadview out on the River plain
Saw her across the Donlands Peel

Jane the Finch has flown away
Said the King to the Eastern Queen
Down the Lakeshore to the Bay
The Yonge won’t Bloor what I’ve seen

Southdown beyond the Church she flew
Her Mystic Bond fulfilled
Remembrance of her Avenue
It’s Close to Grace we’ll find her still

Jane the Finch has flown away
Said the King to the Eastern Queen
Down the Lakeshore to the Bay
The Yonge won’t Bloor what I’ve seen
