Search Party is a project started by me, calvin locklear.
In 2008 i wrote and recorded an Ep under my name. i really enjoyed the songs the recording process, but i soon came to realize that my songs and my writing style are better suited for a band. So i decided to give the project a name and thus Search Party was born. The name Search Party came to me while mowing the lawn. The idea is that since we are all looking for something we should do it together and make sexy music along the way.
my old songs and my songwriting process have taken on a new shape with the addition of a banjo, 12 string guitar and an accordion.
Also, Tyler Despres, Mike Marchant and Joe Grobelny are in the band, but they just don't know it yet.
