Seaweed är Göteborgs nyaste tillskott i indie pop/rock genren och har sedan starten vintern 2011 blivit lite av en snackis i hemstaden. Bandets musik rör sig ledigt mellan ösig eufori och episk melankoli. Här nöjer man sig inte med att skrapa på ytan utan gräver djupt i den frusna Göteborgska leran och bygger från grunden och med känsla. Seaweed är på riktigt.

Seaweed was formed during the winter of 2011 in a cold and snowy Gothenburg. Intoxicated by inspiration and creativity the band stepped into a dark and dingy cellar and came out two months later with a bunch of new songs that feel so natural and self-evident that it makes you wonder why no one has thought to write them before. Now that the band has taken the step out into the light, they welcome spring with fresh air in their lungs and brand new songs to conquer the world with. Pop, rock, call it what you will. Seawe
