Second Hand Saints was formed in December 2009 with a plan to dive back into the origins of a music we all grew up listening to. With a mix of old school punk rock rhythms, Folk inspired sing-a-longs and pissed-up, in-your-face vocals, the band delivers a sound truly our own while telling stories about working class life, politics and how to never forget who you are and where you're from.
The band tours all over the province screaming out issues such as racism, corruption, worker's rights and povery.
The band pays homage to our working class heroes; bands like The Clash, Street Dogs and Dropkick Murphys never stop driving and inspiring our music.
Coming from the remnants of Ontario hardcore punk band Organized Chaos, Second Hand Saints proves that old sentiment that everyone in the Ontario punk scene recognizes: You can shut us up, but you can never shut us down! So raise a pint and make a fist or get out of the way- Our boots are pounding the pavement tonight.
