Second Rate Kings is an energetic rock band from Orange County, CA; comprised of Tyler Liem on guitar/lead vocals and Brandon Liem on drums. Blending the vigor of rock and roll with the brazen passion of the blues, the Liem brothers hit hard with a refreshingly modern sound. Influenced by great bands like Collective Soul, Kaleo, and Black Pistol Fire, SRK brings as much life as possible to every performance. Described as "barely tamed rock energy", they are quickly becoming hometown heroes, with performances at the House of Blues Anaheim, Chain Reaction, and The OC Fair. Heavy guitar, thrashingly precise drum work and, ironically, a whole lot of soul make these two gingers worth listening to.
