Jeremy and Ozzie have played in previous bands together (Embryo, Schwa, and Bent) while Jeremy and Shawn have known each other through the South Bend music scene since 2004. Broc joined the band in January of 2010 and the lineup was complete.

Second Season also participated in the Musical Warfare (A battle of the bands at Piere’s in Fort Wayne, IN). Second Season made the finals for that battle as well with competition from bands all over the region, including Ohio.
