Discography

Second Season is in the middle of recoridng their first record. It should be released in April/May of 2011. Their first demo was a 4 song demo that included "Alive", "The Pusher", "Pavin' The Way" , and "Sun Shines Again". All 4 songs have been played n 103.9 the Bear out of South Bend, Indiana and 98.9 The Bear in Fort Wayne, IN.

Bio

Second Season was formed in the fall of 2008 in South Bend, Indiana by founding members Jeremy Thompson, Osvaldo Limon and Shawn Caplinger. Jeremy and Ozzie have played in previous bands together (Embryo, Schwa, and Bent) while Jeremy and Shawn have known each other through the South Bend music scene since 2004. Broc joined the band in January of 2010 and the lineup was complete.

In just a short time together, Second Season has played with national signed acts such as Atom Smash (Jive Records), Cavo (Warner/Reprise Records) and Brett Michaels. The band took 2nd place at this year’s Woodwinds and Brasswind’s "Battle of the Bands" out of 35 bands from the region.

Second Season also participated in the Musical Warfare (A battle of the bands at Piere’s in Fort Wayne, IN). Second Season made the finals for that battle as well with competition from bands all over the region, including Ohio.

The band’s music has been heard on South Bend’s own 103.9 The Bear and Fort Wayne’s 98.9 The Bear as well as multiple online radio stations such as Golden Image Radio and Asgard Radio.

Jeremy Thompson
Hometown: Flint, Michigan

About JT:JT spent the majority of his childhood in Niles, Michigan. Music has always been a part of his life. He started at the age of 7 with piano and played for about 8 years. At the age of 19, he decided to pursue the guitar. His first band was an alternative band called Ceramic. After Ceramic, he joined Embryo, a hard rock/metal band where he met Ozzie (bass). After a couple years Embryo broke up and JT help form an alternative/hard rock group known as SCHWA. After SCHWA, JT pursued doing a cover project which was called Bent. Bent lasted about a year and than Second Season was formed in winter of 2008/2009.
Some of JT’s musical influences are Randy Rhoads, Slash, Mark Tremonti, Myles Kennedy, Dean DeLeo, and Joe Perry. He likes to listen to GN’R, Alter Bridge, 10 Years, Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, STP, Soundgarden, Candlebox, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Shinedown, Alice in Chains, Anberlin, Collective Soul, Days of the New, Dishwalla, Drowning Pool, Revis, Fuel, Incubus, Queen, Mayfield Four, Papa Roach, Sevendust and Velvet Revolver. Outside of music JT likes to play basketball, run, and workout, watch ND football, PS3, watch movies, go to concerts, and Ski. JT’s top albums are GN’R’s “Appetite for Destruction, Alter Bridge’s “Blackbird”, Ozzy Osbourne’s “Tribute to Randy Rhoads Live”, Collective Soul’s self titled album, Live’s “Throwing Copper”, Creed’s “Human Clay” , Foo Fighter’s “The Colour and the Shape”, Shinedown’s “Leave a Wisper”, Smashing Pumpkins’ “Siamese Dream” and Stone Temple Pilots’ “Purple”
JT’s main guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Classic with Seymour Duncan and PRS pickups. He uses two heads, the main one being a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and the other being a Marshall Mode Four Head. He mostly uses Boss pedals along with the Morley wah pedal. . His favorite songs to perform live are “The Tool” and “The Pusher”. At some point he would love to play a show in Europe or Australia and also play a show with Shinedown or Alter Bridge.

JT is always striving to be a better songwriter and guitarist everyday and would like to get more into music theory. He would like to get to the point where he could focus on music 100% and use his talents everyday. He would love to tour the country and the world. But most importantly he would like to have his music heard to the world and to inspire someone to pick up the guitar the way he was inspired years ago.

Broc Bramlett
Hometown: South Bend, Indiana

About Broc: B-Roc was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He was introduced to the drums at a very young age by his father who is also a drummer. B-Roc was involved in the drumline for Clay High School. At the age of 18 he decided that he wanted to pursue music. He played with a solo artist (D. Anson Brody) and moved to Texas for a year. He than moved back home to Indiana and joined Second Season.
Some of B-Roc’s musical influences are Buddy Rich, Gent Krupa, Dave Weckly, Mike Portnay, Virgil Donati, and Dennis Chambers. B-Roc likes to listen to the Deftones, Tool, Led Zeppelin, Avenged Sevenfold, Lynnard Skynnard, GN’R, The Beatles, Stone Sour and Alter Bridge. Outside of music B-Roc likes to play the Xbox, workout and hunt for Raccoons.
B-Roc plays a Pearl kit with Zildjan cymbals, Evans heads and Vater sticks.. His favorite song to perform live is “The Tool”. At some point he would love to play a show in Europe and play a show with the Deftones.
B-Roc would love to get to the point where he could tour the country.
