Seconds From Disaster
Armed with hard, catchy riffs and big vocal harmonies, Seconds From Disaster is a four-piece punk rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Living in a rock-dominated city, S.F.D. has found a style of their own, playing upbeat, high-energy songs leaving audiences chanting “one more song“. Forming in April 2008, Seconds From Disaster is: Andrew Mitchell (guitar, vocals), Chris Mitchell (guitar, vocals) Jon “Spyder” Stanners (drums, vocals) and Luke Graceffo (bass, vocals). Combining all of their musical backgrounds, the band undertook the task of creating a unique sound and began to play several shows around the city. After receiving praise from their peers and friends, the band felt they had become a part of something that could grow to be much bigger, with some hard work and dedication. In April 2009 the band hit the studio and have produced their first demo entitled, “Band Aids and Hand grenades.” Released at the end of June, "Band Aids and Hand Grenades" has received an overwhelming popular response and been blessed with endless amounts of positive feedback. Seconds From Disaster have a firm grasp on their dream as they begin their wild ride into punk rock madness.
