Guitarist Troy Stetina has sold well over 1,000,000 guitar book/CD methods and DVDs for Hal Leonard Corporation, the world's largest music print publisher.* Troy Stetina is also private guitar coach to Alter Bridge/Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti, who is also involved in helping with the Second Soul arrangements and upcoming touring opportunities.

* Troy is also serving as content advisor for other "Sound and Story" releases for Joe Satriani, Zakk Wylde, and Leslie West, to be produced this spring.

Intro , well 15 tracks to walk you guys through, I'm ready to rock. I didnt know what to expect from a legend like Troy's debut band album , the solo album is out and rocks hard , so theres going to be some cool stuff goin on.

Opened up the CD and YEAH!!
Quality , nice material, spare no expense and the inlay is a booty , got lyrics great art, "pops CD into player and turns up freakin LOUD

Track 1 FLIGHT:
Absolute crowd pleaser, uplifting coolness for those Troy Stetina fans I am not giving it away but its called flight and its fast , cheeky studio chat at the end "gotta speed that up" lol nice.

Track 2 SHOCKWAVE:
Rocking good stuff , smooth doom to the world track , got hard rock stamped from the start to finish and awesome mixes great solo (of coarse) ....

Track 3 MORE LIFE:
This has reminiscent of some great grunge-squ melododic vocals with that great feel of pearl jam kinda Seatle stuff and metal hard rock guitar , solo is Nuno Bettencourt vibed and fast ...

Track 4 SHINE DOWN:
I love this track and the songs have soul and metal a great positive message in this track , but they don't go into the growling metal but balance of the crossroads of genres with metal and rock and melodic rock. This has a Vai and Gilbert vibe to the solo , I have to compare and you guys may have lived under a rock and not know how amazing Troy Stetina is so I'll compare on.

Track 5 MY REALITY:
Nice , moody and building up to an ecstatic build and creshendo of metal but not in a hurry , riff melting verses , much darker and 80 metal solo tricks , I love this one ...theres alot in this track before even the main solo hits you in the balls , great sound too , on all these tracks solo 3 melodic meolodies and other m words like , marvel and the majestic mayhem ;) I thought my CD player was stuck at the end hehe , cool effect guys ;).

Track 6 BURN:
This starts off with open voiced floating vibe and progresses into the songs full on belt , this is very much a MTV metal channel Scuzz kind of track , as pro sounding and any I've heard, the solo' as in all the tracks have a great full sound and very modern unique tricks that will have guitarists scratching their heads or muso's banging their heads to this tune.

Track 7 DEEP END:
Up to track 7 the album has a sonic consistency and story of redemption and falling out of grace and the need of others , I love the whole image of second soul . Great modulation at the end of this gives it new life , all round awesome track.

Track 8 DECIEVER:
A dark track , middle eastern intro vocals and haunting , the guitars are just so very cool , this one will have you tapping your foot banging your head . I really like the laid back tempo this has , loads of awesome fills and back mixed guitar shred ..main solo is a sweet as honey other h words , harmonised and heavy hum-able and hot .
