JONES plays in a lot of bands. He knows a lot of people, who also play in a lot of other bands.
For many years, JONES pondered the possibility of a rhythm section that both creeps and shakes (and, then, not necessarily at the same time).
BETTY is one of the people in a lot of other bands that JONES knows.
WILL plays one of the instruments that both BETTY and JONES know how to play, having played said instrument in many other bands.
One major difference: WILL shakes off the creeps when he plays…
Another guy who plays this instrument, and some of the instruments that both BETTY, and JONES can play, is AIDAN. He knows a lot of people, who also play in a lot of other bands. One day, he forgot how to play all the instruments that BETTY, JONES and WILL know how to play.
So he took up another one…
PHIL is another one of those people, and he plays an instrument that BETTY, JONES and AIDAN all play.
One major difference: PHIL creeps off the shakes when he plays…
AIDAN had played with PHIL and JONES, never with BETTY or WILL (despite hanging around them endlessly and without cause). So JONES finally gave him a reason.
When all five people were put together in JONES' basement, they discovered the following phenomena:
WILLIAM puts the brain back in the drum; the time throbs and educates itself.
PHIL packs the precision punch in the deepest tones. Sometimes, he sings of sage comedy.
JONES used to be the lonely wolf of the axe, with his tunes bent; now he's the Axe Wolf of the Bent Tune.
AIDAN weaves in and around their spaces with hammers, tines and throat. One day, he will smash out a piece of the real.
BETTY's guitar points, her keys punch, and the voice does all of that and everything else. Her song makes it all-mournfully-right.
They are here for you to find, but, for now, they must remain (a) SECRET PUBLIC.
