Secrets of the Bend is a 4 piece Rock band born and raised in NYC. In 2005 3 friends (Ari, Hadrian, and Quentin) decided to take their love for music to the next level. While they attended college they would send each other clips and ideas via the Internet Super Highway and during breaks and vacations put the songs together. As chance would have it during christmas break Hadrian was approached by Derec on the 7 train coming back from practice, info was exchanged and two weeks later Derec and Ari met up to try some vocals for the songs. During the next year everything fell into place, they wrote 30+ songs, played out around NYC to get some audience feedback and began perfecting their stage show. Quentin decided it was time to come back from Boston and turn Secrets of the Bend into a full-time gig. They recorded there first EP at Headgear Studio with Scott Norton, mastered by Steve Fallone(The Strokes, T.V. on the Radio...) in the summer of 2007 and that brings us to the present. With high energy shows Secrets of the Bend is steadily building a following in NY and beyond, gearing up to play 150 shows this next year and tour nationally starting August 2008, Secrets of the Bend is excited to see you at the next show.
