Sediment band started its career on 2008 when Amirali and Mahyar decided to start a band . they knew each other from high school and after studying and
improving their music knowledge, they started writing their music. during these two years many musicians joined and left the band . some of them left ,
because of their personal problems and most of them , because Mahyar and Amirali were seeking the future of their career out of the country for many
reasons. the first and main reason is that rock music is illegal in Iran, and Sediment band couldn't perform or distribute their tracks . this is the reason that they haven't any tour dates or precise schedule for their performances in calendar section. live performances are not predictable and Sediment band has only had some local concerts ... actually in one
of their rehearsal sessions they got arrested and lost some of their instruments and their rehearsal room sealed by the police . after that they decided to
leave the country as soon as possible just for proceeding their music career.
In spring 2009 , two young directors asked them to make a documentary of their band , members, lives and their problems . but in order to the boundaries in
Islamic country and specially the events that occurred after the presidential election and by considering the possibility of getting arrested , the film has never
released yet.
