SeeJay100 has in the last 2 years been floating around the urban scene; coming from South London the home of artists such as So Solid; SeeJay100 was constantly surrounded by music and talented artists. In his younger days, CJ as he was known as at the time was inspired by the lyrics, flow and production of popular crews from the UK garage scene that he grew up listening to. He begun with reciting their lyrics, then realised that he had a talent, and the former business studies student started to write and recite his own material, pushing himself to become a full time artist It was in 2009 when he decided to take his music to the next level and began working on his music full time, experimenting with various genres and collaborations. He now draws his inspiration from within himself and his peers as well as everyday life experiences.
At only 19 years of age, SeeJay100 promises to be the sleek urban artist of 2010. Having recently shot the video for his debut single ‘I Can’t Help It’ directed by Antoine Dixon, due for release in the spring of 2010; there are definitely exciting times ahead for this young pioneer. ‘I Cant Help It’ is an urban dance track, with edgy, quirky lyrics and an infectious beat, that will keep you glued to the dance floor.

He was also inspired by the rapper Jay-Z, and also draws inspiration from current UK based artists like ‘Kano’, ‘Dizzee Rascal’ and ‘Tinchy Stryder’, as he appreciates what they have achieved within the UK mainstream. He can identify with these artists, giving him the confidence in his music and being able to cross over to the mainstream.
