Seeker, formally known as Secher Nbiw, meaning “golden path” in the Hebrew language, targets their audiences with sounds and proceeds to enrich their minds with new experiences. Their music is that of smooth, evolving conversations between old friends, intricately harmonic in unusually unique and pleasantly unexpected ways. They possess an organic approach to musical progression coming from a very diversely-rooted background of music. Inclinations of jazz mesh with aspirations of fusion melt into an infinitely-pieced puzzle of rock and rhythm. These proud mid-western musicians followed their paths in music to finally meet where the Mississippi bends to the west. After playing music together during 2003, Nonnenmann, Sullivan, and Tashjian made a serendipitous befriending with McKinney during the summer of ’04 all cylinders are hitting, and Seeker is poised to write epic chapters in the all-mighty book of music
