"Release of New Album from "Seeking Shelter" Set For Next Month"

Mobile, AL (PressExposure) August 25, 2011 -- Well it’s almost here. It’s the September release of “Saturate.” The long awaited first full album by the guys of Seeking Shelter. These guys may be the NEW kids on the block, but their music is already ahead of time.

This album has all the elements of worship and so much more. The heart of these guys comes out like a rainbow during a storm. The emotion and passion of their music resonates loud and clear!

The band really has a winner with this new CD. From classic worship like “Forever Praised,” to the almost in your face driving beat of “Shadow of A Doubt,” this album has plenty to enjoy!

They all grew up in the land of sweet tea and fried okra (yes, the South, with a capital “S”) and the members of Seeking Shelter each have the stories to prove it. Many of their stories are uniquely their own; stories of triumph, loss, success, addiction, healing. But despite their varied upbringings and life experiences, there is one story they all share–redemption–and this story is the one that shadows all the others.

While the band’s been sharing their stories with the world since 2008, lead singer Jeremy Clements and guitarist Jody Clements have been sharing their stories since birth. The brothers, along with Mason Pasteur (keyboard), Sam Pierce (electric/accoustic guitar), Brandon Breland (bass), and Josh Thames (drums), have molded their wide-ranging musical influences into an edgy pop-rock (CCM) style that easily engages audiences.

“Saturate,” Seeking Shelter’s first full-length album, is set for release September 13th , 2011 and promises to deliver the same sincere musicianship their live audiences have loved for the last 3 years.

“Acceptable” was Seeking Shelters first EP. The single was released to radio March 2010. It held 15 consecutive weeks at #1 on CHR and #3 on AC. “Acceptable” was chosen Indie song of the week by CRW magazine. It was picked up by over 600 radio stations across Australia and the USA. The band plans to tour Australia in January 2012. - Press Exposure

"reviews"

Seeking Shelter, in my opinion, is one of the best Christian bands out there!
On every occasion that Seeking Shelter has performed for our ministry, small or
big, it has been an amazing experience! They not only have an awesome sound but
they are sensitive to and are guided by the Holy Spirit! And when they play the
power of God falls!
I highly recommend them on any level of performance!!!
- Pastor Steven Metcalf,
Fusion College Ministries,
Youth Pastor, Bay Minette First Assembly of GodSeeking Shelter was the perfect band for the night of worship. They play music that resonates with the youth and they really help to usher everyone into a heart of worship. They are very talented and professional in the way they approach worship. I can tell that their hearts are right and their purpose is straight.
Having Seeking Shelter at our church was something out of the ordinary for our church but it was one of the best things our youth group has experienced. It has been a catalyst for other things that we are doing with our youth group. Oh yeah, the best part about the evening and having Seeking Shelter lead worship was that we had numerous people pray to receive Christ as their Savior. I recommend Seeking Shelter for anyone “seeking” to find the right band for a night of worship.

Seeking Shelter has performed for Family Ministries Center several times. Our church gets so excited when we announce that they are coming. Seeking Shelter is an incredibly anointed band with amazing band members. They all put their hearts and souls into their music, making sure that everyone is touched when they play. We appreciate Seeking Shelter so very much for everything they've done at Family Ministries Center. They've played for youth services, adult services, and church activities such as our annual Family Fun Day. We feel truly blessed that we crossed paths with Seeking Shelter. They are a huge blessing to our church and ministry. Thank You, Pastors Chris & Heather Thomas 251.367.1475 (Chris) 251.751.2111 (Heather)

There are many wonderful things to be said about Christian Worship Band,
Seeking Shelter. I've had the pleasure of seeing them in concert a number of
times; but they didn't begin performing shows overnight. They have a sincere
heart for worship, and it has been awesome watching their transformation
from being a few guys who just really wanted to get together and praise God
through music into the leaders of worship music that they have become.

Each show Seeking Shelter performs is always new and exciting. They bring an
original style, a creative rhythm, a fresh sound and definitely a refreshing
thirst for the Holy Spirit. In fact, the only thing that isn't new about
them is their consistent passion for leading others into the presence of
Jesus Christ. They've had this desire and passion from the get-go and they
haven't backed down. It is always an honor to have them perform in our
church; not only because they are a talented band but because they truly
exemplify the very One who gave them the talent.

"Debut Album"

International artist “Seeking Shelter” will be recording their new fulllength
record at Integrity Recording Studio in the band’s hometown of Mobile, AL, from Feb. 28
to March 6.
“Seeking Shelter” is a band that longs to provide a relevant connection between a generation
seeking shelter and a God who longs to provide it. They have opened for “Shane & Shane” and
“Me in Motion”, as well as youth events and several intimate worship settings.
“It’s so important that everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, from the richest to the
poorest, knows where their true Shelter is, and that it is not in the things this life can buy. Jesus
is the only Shelter we need,” says lead guitarist Jody Clements.
The band is well-known for its hit song, "Acceptable", that reached #1 on Global CHR radio for
13 weeks, #3 on Global CHR Top 100 for 2010, #4 on Global AC, and #11 on Global AC top 100
for 2010. Their other hit song, "Not Forgotten", hit #8 on Global AC and #12 on Global INSPO.
“Seeking Shelter” has also played on more than 470 radio stations across the country and
internationally.
"This new album is going to be more about an intimate relationship between man and God."
said Clements.
Clement’s fellow band-mates include Jeremy Clements on vocals, Mason Paseur on keys, Sam
Pierce on bass and Josh Thames on drums. The band is eager to get their new album started
and out to their listeners. The main focus on their album is to provide a worshipful atmosphere
where the lyrics are directed to God.
Jeff Quimby will be producing the record. Quimby has been part of the music business for more
than 20 years and has been the musician, producer and recording engineer involved in the
creative process of developing music for a variety of artists and projects. He was an A&R
Manager and a Director of Artist Development for Integrity Music from 2000 through 2008.
Quimby has worked as a session musician, live performer and producer in Nashville with artists
such as Lincoln Brewster, Big Daddy Weave, Nicole Nordeman, Margaret Becker, Charlie
Peacock, Susan Ashton, Out Of The Grey, Wayne Watson and Twila Paris. He has spent 10 years
working as a drummer and band director for Dove Award-winning artist Margaret Becker.
"We actually met him through the engineer at Integrity," Clements said. "We are super excited
that he will be working with us. He has worked with a lot of great Christian artists and he has
some great ideas."
While at Integrity, Quimby worked to develop the careers of artists such as Lincoln Brewster,
Darrell Evans, Desperation Band, Jared Anderson, Jason Morant, Joel Auge, Worth Dying For,
Michael Gungor and Ten Shekel Shirt. His efforts have led to the creation of albums that
garnered sales, critical acclaim, Dove Award nominations and Christian radio hits including the
No. 1 AC single, “Everlasting God”, from Lincoln Brewster and CHR single, “Ocean”, from Ten
Shekel Shirt.
"We feel like this is a milestone in our career," Clements said. "It's a big door that God is
opening for us. This is the next step to get us where we are going."

While the band’s been sharing their stories with audiences since 2008, lead singer Jeremy Clements and guitarist Jody Clements have been sharing their stories since birth. Whether it’s playing high-energy youth events, intimate worship settings, or offering live street ministry, Seeking Shelter’s passion can be heard loud and clear.

Fronting for groups like “Shane & Shane” and “Me in Motion,” Seeking Shelter is finally coming into their own “front act” caliber and they’re on a mission, ready to go wherever the mission field calls. They know they’ll keep playing as long as there are people who are still “seeking.” These guys are a relevant connection between a generation seeking shelter and the God who longs to provide it.

“Saturate,” Seeking Shelter’s first full-length album was released September 13th, 2011 and delivers the same sincere musicianship their live audiences have enjoyed for the last 3 years.

When they’re not on the road or playing locally, you can find them ministering in a passion they’ve all shared… “helping the homeless,” or gathered together in one of their backyards playing horseshoes, barbequing, or having the occasional craw-fish boil. Their interests include spending time with their families, fishing, motorcycles and hot rod cars. (Well, Jody anyway…)
