Allegory

Written By: Nate Williams

What were you thinking when you put away the limbs
Absurd and I won't heal when they forgive this destruction
A cold waste
You tried but truth had pushed you away within

Gifts of a life are descending to the whys and the cries have we opened our eyes to sleep

Hope I've feared with you
Here in your quiet suffering
Did questions oscillate remorse
A devastating truth reads that the worst has shown its face
Sometimes you can’t prevent a circumstance that shapes our misfortune

They captured you

A bit puzzled with your consciousness
Tearing down the quest yet no words have begun to really justify your fate
But you longed
And I think they captured you
From a friend

So here in your quiet suffering
Did questions oscillate remorse
A devastating truth reads that the worst has shown its face
Can I just defy

The way you ended
This life though your gifts still remain
And by the way we miss you

Capgras Syndrome

Written By: Nate Williams

They're moving so they can formulate
The found copies that resemble false
A mask
Warping their origin

A furious and old condition
Where all death played in at defense for its own blood
Several eyes are holding replacements
As these lives disperse amongst us
Several eyes adjusting to fate

Sewn the same
Their bodies’ only one
Leaving though embedded to the damage worthy of forsaken form

Why throw it all away
The faces overtaken
Overrun
Now it can’t be them
You pretend that we don't search
Sterilize the trace
Paralyze
Reface
Several eyes adjusting to fate

A bold feud
They're moving
This daze a foreign dark

Sewn the same
Their bodies’ only one
Leaving though embedded to the damage worthy of forsaken form

Dark White

Written By: Nate Williams

Hell is on the phone but why is it calling you for answers you don't know
You were searching for a sight
A once envisioned scene
Supposed to be swept clean from suffering
A vulture waits for release

And the freezing holes with the highest walls become our history

All these cruel apprehensions lead to dark dimensions on their own
No wonder we shift
I guess these types of decisions like to build their own prisons you know
No wonder we've fled

Hell is on the phone but why is it calling me for answers I should know
I was searching for alive
Alive entirely
Supposed to be set free from misery
A vulture waits for relief

And the freezing holes with the highest walls become our history

Talk In Pieces

Written By: Nate Williams

The knives hover in
They're suddenly sinking
Aligned as the seasons operate
No further eyes could bear to see
We watch
Just as the pictures pry for the right to be believed
Staring through all your love
They whisper the missed words a silence to renew

Now they talked when the time was pleasing
No proof or meaning
I found some distance we've been sharing
May delightful regret pour in

It’s suddenly sinking right through you
It’s suddenly sinking right through two wait forlorn to end
And off peel the years of hope and repair

Now they talked when the time was pleasing
No proof or meaning
I found some distance we've been sharing
May delightful regret pour in

Few Will Make It This Far

Written By: Nate Williams

You had opened your eyes to see a disgrace was painted for you
A true cold blend for this head
As patterns aligned the seasons relayed the patient sore truth
And we had changes to make

But what if we had only tried to make amends
The distance we created never made much sense
What if we had separated shame from our own desires

I know it’s not too late
But the years pass before we blink or even remember
That we’ve delayed

We struggle to find reasons why we never talked this through
You know we're getting closer to the answers that make sense
So now we can try to lift all the weights
They have distorted our views
Few will make it this far

What if we could really try to make some plans
What if we could would you consider it

I know it’s not too late
But the years pass before we blink or even remember
That we’ve delayed
I’m hopeful
But all I can do is forgive and forget
If it’s enough for you it’s enough for me
I will return
I will return

Leave all of your guilt and pain
They will not scar
I have so much to say
So I’d like to start today

I know it’s not too late
But the years pass before we blink or even remember
That we’ve delayed
I’m hopeful
But all I can do is forgive and forget
If it’s enough for you it’s enough for me
I will return
I will return

Glitch

Written By: Nate Williams

Discomforting how this machine moves-
Could be more than a little risk-
It’s not comforting how this machine moves-
Could be more than a little risk-
Tangled in place-
A puzzle before you-
A device with a terrible glitch-
You’ve put it together and you’ve torn it apart-
But that’s really just changing nothing at all-
Before it’s too late you have to do something-
This is not what you imagined it

With what has been done something’s got to happen
Because this has gone too far and you’re tired of consequences

Take everything -
Take control of the powerless
No escape from losing grip as you die to wake

Discomforting-
Now this machine stares into it’s own reflection of sin
Into disguise-
Into the eyes now-
Of the creature that’s been wired within-
It’s confusing that the best taste you’ve ever known has you screaming at the top of your lungs-
Soon to cave in-
Soon to resemble the device that you are trying to fix

This one won’t let go-
Watch it target it's victim-
Watch it

Take everything -
Take control of the powerless
No escape-
From losing grip as you die to wake-(to wake up)
So what have you become -
What will ever be enough
Because tonight you’ve surrendered once again

And you can’t escape this infectious disease-
Tell me please-
Why have you succumb-
And you can run from the truth but from the truth you can’t hide-
It continues to haunt you-
It’s still stuck inside-
Tell me please-
Why have you succumb

Don’t leave a moment to waste-
No you don’t have to give in, Don’t leave a moment to waste, Don’t you don’t have to give in-
Don’t you control everything

So you’re controlling every motive with the greatest of ease but you can’t escape this infectious disease-
Tell me please -
Why have you succumb -
And you can run from the truth but from the truth you can’t hide-
It continues to haunt you-
It‘s still stuck inside-
Tell me please why have you succumb-
And what have you become

Take everything -
Take control of the powerless
No escape from losing grip as you die to wake-(to wake up)
So what have you become -
What will ever be enough
Because tonight you’ve surrendered once again

Tides

Written By: Nate Williams

You see these cries of the innocent enemy have wrapped you up in their vines-
It seems to confuse you just right-
When the hands meet-
You would think that it could slow down for us-
You think that it could wait just a little while-
Because somehow you can’t seem to find yourself and these

Tides won’t ever rest-
Tell me this-
What are you waiting for-
Fight these shadows off-
Every moment you’ve wasted has proven-
That it’s you you’re afraid of
(Tell me-can’t you see that)
Tell me is this all you’ve waited for
(Every moment you’ve wasted has proven)

Choirs of your ignorant memory
(You’re just alone you just don’t always know just how to begin)
Sing to you one day at a time-
And they say-
You can’t afford to wait for another day-
You could lose it all-
You could live a lie-
Because there’s no mercy in the hands of time-
And these

Tides won’t ever rest-
Tell me this-
What are you waiting for-
(Fight these shadows off)
Every moment you’ve wasted has proven-
That it’s you you’re afraid of
(Tell me-can’t you see that)
Tell me is this all you’ve waited for
(Every moment you’ve wasted has proven)

Nobody has to-
Everyone can prove-
Anything can be-

You can free yourself-
How bad could it be -
If you never try you’ll never really know and what’s the worst that could happen if you haven’t even started to breathe-
No mercy

These tides won’t ever rest-
Tell me this-
What are you waiting for-
(Fight these shadows off)
Every moment you’ve wasted has proven-
That it’s you you’re afraid of
(Tell me-can’t you see that)

Set List

30-40 min sets are the norm for us but we have been known to entertain a 3 hour set. The show is continuous and to the point. We definitely try to make use of our time up on stage and acoustic shows are part of our repertoire as well.
