SEGØ

A native of the musically rich Shoals area of North Alabama, Luke Sego (SEGØ) has been writing and performing music since he started his first band in his parents’ basement at 13 years old. He cut his teeth in the local music scene as a teenager, playing guitar with his punk band in dirty, small venues across the southeast, and he brings that same devil-may-care energy and influence into his music and live performances today.

Drawing inspiration from the creative artistry of Avicii and Daft Punk, Sego began producing his own music and learning the ropes of DJing at local bars and parties during his college years at the University of North Alabama. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, SEGØ is a producer and established DJ in the Nashville music scene, where he holds DJ residencies at the Dogwood, and Tin Roof Nashville.

SEGØ has played at venues all across Music City, with notable performances including: opening for Bailo at The Back Corner, opening direct support for AJ Mclean at Tin Roof Broadway, opening line-up for Ying Yang Twins and Nappy Roots at the Nashville Oktoberfest, and hosting New Year's Eve at the Ainsworth, Tin Roof, and the Sutler. 

SEGØ continues to display the hard work ethic of an independent artist, having produced on 30 streaming releases, and amassing over half a million streams to date. He is dedicated to creating his own diverse sound with the dance music that he produces. Since the start of 2020, he has remixed songs for hit top 40 songwriter Krysta Youngs (BTS, Rain Man), pop artists Jeffrey James (Songland) and Tyler Rayn (American Idol), and country artist Ryan Robinette.
