Seis com Casca

The group was created inside the University of São Paulo in 2007, by former students from the Music Department who wanted to play the
compositions of Astor Piazzolla – famous for working in the threshold
of classical and popular music.
The members have a diverse experience in music.
Individually, they have performed in important Brazilian orchestras,
festivals and concerts, with artists such as Elba Ramalho, Moraes Moreira, Arrigo Barnabé, Fernanda Porto, among others.
When working with popular music themes, the musicians run away from the pure and simple repetition: they explore new combinations of timbres and search a classical way of thinking music. At the same time, when making classical music arrangements, they create new dressings that approach these works to popular music, adding elements of Brazilian rhythms or adapting the instrumentation: they play
Prokofiev, for example, with guitar and drums.
