REVIEW

Shortly after The inferno wound up there set. SEHKT stormed the stage with an assault of "HELL-CORE", Basil discovered "joke telling" not his best work. but managed to get the crowd laughing none the less. After a slight technical difficulty with microphones the moment was seized and they marched forth with the rest of there set. With the new additions of "Matt" ex Masorah on bass and Basil on vocal' completing there new line-up add's a exciting dynamic to the sound these guys generate. deep guttural roars and whammy diving squelchy harmonic dissidence and grindy groove riffs providing many with a great show of there upcoming work. these guys have just been in the studio, so expect to see a release from them soon.

Bio

Wellington , New Zealand 2004 the band SEKHT was born.

started by guitarist
&
founding member J.HELLKATZE.

Sick of the current metal trend in New zealand and the world in general And Love Of Heavy Metal Started a mission to produce a sound that took all the bits & pieces of all the good types of Heavy Metal and roll em into one.

To Give The World "HELLCORE" metal.

Influnced by the old guard of metal like - Black Sabbath
Pantera, early Slayer & Metallica , White zombie to name a few,
through to european black & deathmetal ,thrash, hardcore, speed, power, tech, industrial, goth, doom etc.
Pretty much any decent metal band that made an impact on the band members lives.

So thus far the band has
what seems to be a reliable & hungry line-up!!! a four piece to be reckoned with live!!

what sets SEKHT apart from the other bands is that
SEKHT are the only "HELLCORE' Metal Band in the World and intend to create a world wide following. just like the norwegians have black metal, new zealand will have "HELLCORE".
