Lyrics

Relate

Written By: Ben Cannon

These thoughts form in my head
Gives me fuel for my pen
Filling up this piece of paper
With a melody to sing
I wonder if anyone will like it
Will they even tap their feet to it
I keep writing on and on and on to give you something to sing

One more hate song to explain
All your friendly attempts have been in vain
One more love song to ease the pain
When you lose your love to cry while it rains
So many songs that keep you going
When you’ve lost all of your faith
So I’ll give you one more song
So you can just relate

Just relate

Verse 2:
I wonder if anyone listens to me
And knows just how I feel
I hope they hear this song
And know that I am being real
I write about my life
So I can help you get through yours
I hope it gets you through
Whatever life has sent to endure

Chorus:
One more hate song to explain
All your friendly attempts have been in vain
One more love song to ease the pain
When you lose your love to cry while it rains
So many songs that keep you going
When you’ve lost all of your faith
So I’ll give you one more song
So you can just relate

(guitar solo 8 measures)

Chorus:
One more hate song to explain
All your friendly attempts have been in vain
One more love song to ease the pain
When you lose your love to cry while it rains
So many songs that keep you going
When you’ve lost all of your faith
So I’ll give you one more song
So you can just relate

Just relate

Reflection

Written By: Jarod Thompson

So many questions left unsaid
You wonder when you’ll see the light
It’s time for us to just hit the road
And move past all that’s left behind

So many questions left unanswered
Just leave them all behind my friend
Don’t ask why, we are here
Just look at your reflection

Verse 2:
Don’t ask what the meaning of life is
It’ll all be answered in due time
Now just sit back and wait
And watch the stars disappear

Chorus:
So many questions left unanswered
Just leave them all behind my friend
Don’t ask why, we are here
Just look at your reflection

(acoustic guitar interlude 8 measures)

Chorus:
So many questions left unanswered
Just leave them all behind my friend
Don’t ask why, we are here
Just look at your reflection

Verse 3:
Now fall asleep knowing someday soon
All the answers will fall into place
Don’t wish it would get here so soon
Just takes the excitement of life away

Chorus:
So many questions left unanswered
Just leave them all behind my friend
Don’t ask why, we are here
Just look at your reflection
(repeat)

(acoustic guitar interlude 8 measures, 6/8 jam outro 16 measures) (end)

Dusty Cap

Written By: Ben Cannon

An old dusty cap oh collecting dust
So nice and worn just how I like it
Reminds me where I’ve come from and who I’ve become
It’s sat on my head for years and years and beers and beers and tears and tears
As though to keep my thoughts inside my head
It’s dull and torn yet it’s still bright
Cause it reminds me even though I might go through some trying times

You gotta keep on
You gotta keep on pushin
You gotta keep on pushin, keep on movin’ pushin’

Movin’ on down the road
No matter how much of a load
You think you’ve got sitting on your back
You gotta keep on moving and that’s a fact
So keep movin on down the road
No matter what you think about your load
Just keep your cap on tight
And keep truckin alright
And before you know it you’ve got someone to share your load tonight.

Verse 2:
Life’s gonna send you some trying times
But you gotta keep your head up high
Because you never ever know
Who you’ll meet, who you’ll love, when where and why
Just take the cards that you’re dealt
Play em’ wisely think about it all___________the time
But in the mean__________time
You gotta keep on
You gotta keep on pushin
You gotta keep on movin’
You gotta keep on pushin n’ truckin’ n’ pushin’ n’ truckin’ n’

Chorus:
Movin’ on down the road
No matter how much of a load
You think you’ve got sitting on your back
You gotta keep on moving and that’s a fact
So keep movin on down the road
No matter what you think about your load
Just keep your cap on tight
And keep truckin alright
And before you know it you’ve got someone to share your load and keep on

Movin’ on down the road
No matter how much of a load
You think you’ve got sitting on your back
You gotta keep on moving and that’s a fact
So keep movin on down the road
No matter what you think about your load
Just keep your cap on tight
And keep truckin alright
And before you know it you’ve got someone to share your load
