Selena Seballo

Selena was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1980 but moved to Orlando, Florida in 1982 where she currently resides. The daughter of Jamaican nurse and former actor/singer, this charismatic singer began her musical journey as a piano student at age 7 but got her calling to sing in high school. Under the direction of her choir teacher Gayle Jones Murphy, Selena was inspired to experiment and expand her vocal abilities. It wasn’t until her junior year that she had the desire to make it as a singer/songwriter/musician. But her dreams would go on hold until she would complete college and graduate from Southwestern Adventist University with a degree in Business Marketing/e-Commerce. All the while, college gave Selena the chance to explore herself and emerge as the songstress she is today.

Through her college experience she was able to cultivate her writing abilities and produced some of her best material. “No More” is one of these songs in which she pours out her angst to find peace of mind and be spiritually elevated. Since graduating from college she has rubbed shoulders with world-class musicians as well as producers and agents from major labels such as, Warner Bros., Atlantic Records, and RCA. She has chosen to be an independent artist and is making waves on the underground music trails.
