Self Made Millionaire Records is a Hispanic owned Record Label founded by Harlem native Self Made Streets and his brother on October 26, 2006. The foundation of the label began as an independent outlet for rappers Streets & $ixteen where they would have the resources to release their first mixtapes. $ixteen, a poet turned rapper, style of music includes story telling and love songs while Self Made Streets derives his sound from his troubled childhood turning ugly stories into lyrical works of art. With two artists and the release of several freestyles the label still felt something was missing. Not long after the label would find their missing piece. An experienced Rapper from Wagner Projects (East Harlem) by the name of Flames Ryder who not only brought an old school, up-tempo style of lyricism to the group but also would later become the Mastermind behind the Visuals of the groups music. From the ground up we are Self Taught, Self Built, We Are Self Made Millionaire Records.
