Orlando’s Alternative Rock Band, Senate has rocked their way into a multi-record contract with Fuel Records. The band is scheduled to release their first album in the spring of next year.
Orlando, FL (Billboard Publicity Wire) December 15, 2008 – Orlando alternative rock band Senate has signed a recording contract with Fuel Records, their publicist announced. Fuel Records is distributed through EMI and the label plans to launch an extensive radio and marketing campaign to coincide with their tour and debut album scheduled for release early next year.

Since April of 2007 Senate has been treading forcefully forward, seamlessly drawing the attention of Florida music scene. . Graduates from the University of Central Florida, Senate draws influences from a lot different genres of music. Senate has cultivated a sound that provides a breath of fresh air. Senate has also signed a management deal with Doug Wimmer of Concept Artist Management. CAM manages such acts as The Exies (Eleven Seven Records) and Under the Flood (Koch Records), Along with Partner Dave Neal Who own the Most Wanted and the Cage Rattle Tours. Additionally, Neal provides internet and viral marketing services for such bands as Breaking Benjamin. The pair with over 25 years of experience in the music industry will help guide Senate in their future endeavors.

A sweet trip of alternative rock. Senate is influenced by the bands 311 and sublime. A perfect combination of rhythm and flow, solid guitars, and worldly percussion tied into a ball of positivity and love for music that explodes on stage in a captivating and unforgettable live show.
Every member of the band have known each other since grade school. That friendship continued through college (UCF) and the band formed in April of 2007. Senate has been treading forcefully forward, seamlessly drawing the attention of Florida music scene. . Drawing influences from reggae, jazz, hip hop, & rock, Senate has cultivated a sound that provides a breath of fresh air. Power chord chorus you hear over and over again on the radio.
