Seánie Vaughan

Seánie Vaughan is a passion-filled folk-rock musician whose music and lyrics have captivated audiences throughout Ireland since he has taken up his career as a musician. His voice is soulful, his lyrics personal and his style timeless.

Seanie Vaughan is a Dublin-based singer-songwriter. His exciting debut album, 'Altered Vision', was launched in February 2011 in Dublin's Button Factory and the 5-piece band are currently touring the album.

Seanie was delighted to reach no. 5 in the Irish indie charts upon the release of the album and he regards this as a personal triumph but he also sees it as a small step on what we know will be a long and fruitful career in music. There are several obvious influences that are incorporated into Seanie’s music including Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Ocean Colour Scene and Damien Rice yet Seanie sees the great diversity of music as being the true beauty of it. ‘Altered Vision’ is an excellent debut album but the live set surpasses it with its energy and flow.
Tracks from the album have received acclaim when they have been played on BBC Radio 2, RTE Radio 1, 98fm, Nova and Galway Bay FM. Seanie has also had media write-ups from a variety of newspapers and magazines including The Star, The Mail on Sunday and Hotpress as well as various regional publications.
