Sense of Direction is a spin off band from a singing group called Popular Gravity that started in 2010. Influences include modern pop rock such as Lady Gaga, Adele, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gotye, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and more.
Music is primarily light rock / pop covers but the group also has a list of great original songs that were written by a friend.
This young talented group has recently performed at Six Flags, House of Blues, Taste of Dallas, West Berry Block Party, Lake Cities 4th of July Festival, Saxbys Coffee, Scooters Coffee & Yogurt & more.
Sound system is available or the group can work with existing set up. Able to perform indoors or out, large outdoor festival to small intimate coffee shop and everything in between.
Music features fun music, great harmonies and an entertaining performance. Lyrics are rated G to PG so performances are appropriate for all ages and this group is a great fit for events that need a family-friendly sound.
Lead singer Sheridan Culp has been performing in the group for more than 2 years and on stage her entire life. She currently trains at Septien Entertainment Group and is in the school show choir. She is represented by Linda McAlister talent agency and her professional resume includes film, tv, internet, music video, voice overs, theatre, modeling, singing, dancing and costume character credits.
Lead singer Leila Jones has been performing in the group for more than 2 years. In addition to singing she plays guitar and models.
Eric Vazquez plays keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, sax, tenor sax, drums and sings.
Boady Beltz is a singer who has also done some modeling and acting.
Brendan Hernandez is on lead guitar and is also an actor and model.
The group is trained, managed and supported by a staff of professional adults, including a music director.
