Sensing Sound

My artist name is Sensing Sound because sound is a consistent reality, and through all of our senses we experience music. This is especially true in electronic music, and the idea of putting emotion and feeling into music through a computer. My real name is Ben Todd. I am currently attending college studying to become a lawyer, however music is my passion and I'm doing my best to do what I love the most as a successful career. I create electronic music of all kinds but my favorites are Dubstep and Glitch/Electronica. I try to put a musicality into electronic music that anyone who says they don't like electronic music would enjoy my songs. I listen to music all the time, and that big of an exaggeration. I am listening to music unless I'm sleeping or at class. And the majority of the time it's some form of electronic music. Pretty Lights will show up on every playlist I have at least once. Deadmau5 is also pretty frequent in the music I listen to. Those two guys inspire me when I produce in the way the treat the tracks they make. They treat this how it should be treated, and that's a form of art. Every part of their tracks is there for a reason and all of them flow and vibe together so naturally. They take music made in a computer of some form and turn it into art that isn't seen but heard. They don't change who they are or the music they make for anyone but themselves, and that's a very respectable trait. I try to listen to every kind of music that I can, and take inspiration from anything. I pride myself on being my own person and having that show in my music. There are two sayings that I try my hardest to create my music through. First, "Fame should only be a product of doing something that you love." And second, "As much as my music is a product of me, I am a product of my music." Through these sayings, I will only create as long as I still enjoy it, and I will always keep learning from every thing I create. Music is my life, and I love producing. I cannot express how much I would love to produce my music as a career and I will always continue to strive to make that happen.
