Seo Skye is what the game's been missing. Since the tender age of six she knew exactly what she wanted to do in life, MUSIC! Coming from a family with a legendary musical background, there was no escaping the music scene. With immediate family such as FIFTH PLATOON who released their hit single "The Party Line" in 1991, to her uncles All Mighty KG and GrandMaster Caz of THE COLD CRUSH BROTHERS, Seo Skye was BORN into Hip-Hop. While in high school Skye worked hard to prove herself to others. Constantly being named the best singer in the high school, Skye needed to work hard to maintain this title. She won 2nd place in the 2006 Humanities and the Arts H.S. (formerly known as ANDREW JACKSON H.S.) Talent Showcase. Skye has also been awarded for outstanding performance in the C.A.S.Y.M. Steel Pan Orchestra, 2005 Humanities and The Arts H.S. Outstanding Vocal Performance, and 2007 Humanities and The Arts H.S. Outstanding Vocal Performance. As time moved on, Skye and her mother parted ways and she left to live life in Queens, NY. Queens has been heavily on her back for 7 years now and at the young age of 19, Skye has accomplished more than the average 21 year old. She has won multiple awards for superb musical performances, has started her own independent record label (Tru Gryndaz Ent.) as well as be an artist managing herself. While doing all of this Skye stills finds time to work full-time as a Security Officer. There's not one word to describe Skye except for "GRINDER". Working hard everyday to accomplish the task at hand and keeping a watchful eye of those around her. Influenced by Brandy, Amerie, Mary J.
