My music is a reflection of who I am and what I see around me. You may get a soulful R&B vibe, some alternative, experimental, or even techno. There is no limit to my expression. Music is music regardless of genre. So to sum it up, my music is like gumbo. There's something in the pot for everyone.

Artist Full Name: Sephida Artis

Brief Bio:

R&B artist/songwriter Sephida began singing and writing at a very early age. Making her start in the church choir, even as a tiny little one, she commanded the attention of all who were around her. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where she developed a love of music. Growing up listening to legendary artists, such as Patti Labelle; Lalah Hathaway; Gladys Knight; Rachelle Ferrell; and countless others, she knew that music would be her destiny. By the age of 9 she was already writing and arranging her own songs. She was told by many that she had a gift that was far beyond her years. Sephida later moved to the "Dirty" South where she learned to adapt to a different life outside of the big city. She has graced many stages in performance showcases, competitions, and open-mics giving the world a taste of what she had to deliver. She brings a soulful R&B flavor with a hip-hop vibe that makes her for sure a force to be reckoned with. All in the same breath she can carry any other genre like a seasoned vet. Having the best of both worlds by experiencing both the city and country life, she brings to the table a certain southern charm with a New York state of mind. When meeting her you can’t help but notice her magnetic personality. She can capture anyone’s attention from the moment she belts out the first note. When asked what separates her from the rest of the pack she simply replies, “My music is genuine and heartfelt.” “I’m not afraid to be who I am even if I look crazy.” She laughs. Ladies and Gentlemen, you are truly in the presence of a star.
