Bio

Matt Jones and Lou Peragine... they are September Storm. Formed with 400 miles between them and built on high intentions before them, the duo will soon set out on their debut EP called "When All Else Fails." The record will be entirely be written in separation, with live practice time at a minimum. With only a hand full of drum lessons between them, the songs completely represent their emotions felt inside and out. The collaboration, although an unusual one, has great potential. Matt hails from Long Island, NY, but attends school hours and hours away in Cortland, NY. Back in 2005, Matt had joined a band after the first song hit on Myspace, he became addicted to music, and all of its captivity. He was honored to have played alongside bands like All Time Low, The Still Life, The Forever Endeavor, The Killing Moon, Sunday Night Scene and Fly Away Phoenix (now High Class Heist). That project was only a stepping stone to where he is now, and he plans not to look back. At only 19, he has developed his voice exponentially in the past year and its going to take a lot to slow his drive down. Writing constantly, his passion of music and songwriting will shine glamorously on the EP.
Back on the Island is Lou, who was originally asked simply to produce the EP, but after hearing some demos, he felt he had to be a part of it. Better known for his band, The Still Life, he teamed up with Matt writing songs via the internet. Mastering the art of all instruments, he is just the addition the project needed. Along with that, he brings experience necessary to guide the band in the right direction.
