Bio

He started studying music in Monterrey, in 1975 the ALFA corporate group awarded him a scholarship to study music at the Guidhall School of Music and drama in London. Later he was given a scholarship by the Guildhall to study voice and composition.
Sergio Martinez is Associate GSM in classical guitar and Graduate GSM in singing.
External curriculum: Guitar with Angelo Gilardino; Composition with Robert Saxton and composition for dance with John Cage and Merce Cunningham; improvisation with Alfred Neiman; Brazilian percussion with Shedar Baba and The London School of Samba.
During his stay in England he gave numerous guitar and voice recitals in London as well as in other English cities. He is a cofounder of Música Maestro .
