SERMONS OF SOUND

In Feb. 2007, I decided to go solo, and I mean solo. I wrote a horror story dealing with biblical prophecies and incorporating current political figures. I wrote all the music in the studio "off the cuff" (if you will). I would have a guitar riff written, and I would write the bass and keyboard parts in the studio-that is just one example. After all the music was recorded, I would phrase the vocals/story to the music, again,at the studio off the top of my head. I work a full-time job and have a busy schedule (as do most of us working musicians), so I find it best to just book the studio time and create there. Get your creative mind right, and off you go. I am 6'8" tall and am an animal on stage. I am always headbangin' and head-twirlin and the 24" of long hair is flyin'. I give off these demon-possessed faces and my energy is second to none. I was born in '71 and can out rock most if not all you young kids whose biggest influence is "nirvana" or anything along those lines. I create REAL metal-- a forgotten craft (except in Europe). My influences would be- King Diamond, Fates Warning, early days of Metallica, (Cliff Burton era), hints of Megadeth and Slayer, Ozzy and Sabbath,Yngwie Malmsteen, Dream Theatre, Symphony X, Evergrey, any QUALITY metal. I am a long-hair, but not a glam-rocker--I despise bands like warrant and poison and firehose(etc.) I like to see passion and sweat and a difficulty level--skills that it takes to play progressive style metal.
