Bio

Formed in 2001, Serotone made a name for themselves as a hard hitting, progessive rock band who not only were entertaining for music lovers, but for musicians alike.

After the release of a self-titled E.P., a full-length album entitled My Secret Hiding Place, and a West Coast tour in late 2003, Serotone saw what was thought to be their demise in mid-2004.

After a year of hibernation, vocalist Jeff Scott and guitarist David Kittelson decided to lower the white flag and start anew, keeping the Serotone name alive. Joining the newly formed group on guitar was long-time friend and guitar tech Brad Kletzin, whose addition to the band thickens the sound and allows Kittelson more room to let his amazing talents shine through. This new incarnation of the band left behind the progressive rock groove and traded it in for a much more driving and straight-forward rock sound.

2006 was a productive year for the group. They were given the opportunity to play with some high-profile names such as Powerman 5000 (twice), along with winning a handful of battles. It also saw the addition of bassist Mike Johnson, whose excitement and zealousness is a fresh spark for the band. Soon after, Eli Johnson stepped in to take over drum duties, who together with Mike, form the rhythm section of the group affectionately known as "Johnson & Johnson".

With this current line-up, the creative process is in high-gear. Blending in-your-face guitar hooks with a focus on multi-vocal harmonies, Serotone's new sound is a must hear. 2007 looks to be a promising year for the group, who look to be in the studio in the not-to-distant future. Join us in spreading the word that Serotone is back and a force to be reckoned with.
