The life of the animal is in the blood. The life of this 'animal's blood is filled with music from great influences such as my grandfather, who co-wrote the Kenyan national anthem. I grew up around my uncle's music back in Africa, and due to the multiple cultures in the country from Ethiopia to India, I was exposed to alot of different musical styles. With my passion for spoken word and writing, it was only right that my music be enveloped by rap, the most influential force in music to date. My desire to create new styles and sounds forges me as a trailblazer - always looking to do something different, in a familiar package. My music is very emotional, very contemplative, and challenges the social status. Like Fela Kuti, I rarely desire to do the same thing over and over, if even twice.
