Finally, a New York City band with funk and style. One thing SESSION is NOT is your typical wanna-be rock band. Inspired by bands like Sublime, SESSION boasts original songs and amazing talent. Smooth vocals, and an eclectic mix of guitars & saxophone, make them a crowd favorite at any venue.

Many great things come from the Sea. Session is no different. Born on the fantail of a Merchant Marine ship thousands of miles away. Session began with two guys, two guitars, and some of the best original lyrics and sounds that anyone could have ever imagined. Once the ship had journeyed back to New York City, the desire to play continued to thrive. Nick continued writing and playing, Phil traded his acoustic guitar for an electric one, added the saxophone to his repertoire and found themselves two other fine musicians. Nick’s lifelong friend and amazing bassist, James Joseph Julian Johnson Junior joined the crew to provide those stunning low notes on his Bass. Brandon Karp, an extremely talented drummer, and Grammy nominated multi-platinum recording engineer, gives the group the foundation on the drums, not to mention adding to the bands stunning good looks. The four guys got together and played, and at that time they unleashed one of the greatest sounds and stage productions the world has ever seen. The smooth vocals, eclectic beats, original lyrics, and the sweet sound of a saxophone make Session one of the best up and coming bands out there. Recently signed by a talent agency and selected to perform at national college showcase events the guys stand ready to prove to the world, why there is always time for one more SESSION.
